The Scarlet Spotlight is excited to be joined by former Rutgers men's lacrosse player and current announcer Rick Mercurio for Episode 109 of the show. Mercurio was a part of three NCAA Tournament teams at RU in the 1970s, before embarking on a very successful coaching career on Long Island. He discusses his time in Piscataway, path to coaching and subsequent foray into both announcing and international lacrosse administration. After the interview, Danny and Jon play year in review for Rutgers Athletics, and set up Summer 2022 for the podcast and the NIL collective.
